Long before the relaxed, never-gets-stressed behind the wheel voice of GPS directing our every turn as we drove, we relied on a map to get us to our destination. Ever had trouble reading a map? Ever wound up lost because of your inability to read that map?

Did you know there is a MAP to God? It's easy to read and you will get to the destination that God intended for you long before the foundation of the earth was set. It is the most important road you will ever choose to travel, but you will have to make the choice to follow the map. The good news is that the MAP involves just three simple steps.

M – Meet the CEO...His Name is Jesus (Trusting Your Life/Future to the Savior):

The company of Heaven's CEO is like no other. He wants to give you a lifetime benefit package, and a retirement plan that is out of this world. All clichés aside, the truth is this: we have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glorious standard. Without God, we would have no eternal future, and this separation caused by sin must be forgiven so that we can return to God. Jesus loves you passionately, so much that He died for you, so you could be reunited forever with your heavenly Father. Praying a simple prayer to God and believing in His Son, Jesus, is all you need to do to secure your reservation in heaven. The Bible tells us in the book of Joel (2:32, NIV) that, "Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved...there will be deliverance."

Your prayer might sound something like this, "Jesus...I need You. I believe You’re the Son of God, that You died for my sin, and rose again. I ask forgiveness for my sin, and I invite You into my heart and into my life. I ask that YOU be the LORD of my life, and I commit to live for you. I thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit, who now lives in me. I ask all these things by faith, and in YOUR NAME. Amen."

A – Accept & Advertise His Company Benefits (Sharing Jesus with Others, and the Holy Spirit’s indwelling):

In the Gospel of Matthew (28:19-20, The Voice), Jesus says, “I am here speaking with all the authority of God, who has commanded Me to give you this commission:  Go out and make disciples in all the nations. Ceremonially wash them through baptism in the name of the triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Then disciple them. Form them in the practices and postures that I have taught you, and show them how to follow the commands I have laid down for you. And I will be with you, day after day, to the end of the age.”

As we grow in our relationship with God, and seek to become more like His Son, Jesus, the Holy Spirit's indwelling becomes evident in our lives. We begin to develop the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindheartedness, goodness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. As these fruits grow in our lives, God feels less like religion, and more like a relationship...and good news, it's not complicated!

P – Party in the Penthouse Suite (Heaven):

There's going to be a party in heaven, and Jesus wants you on "the list."

The Bible tells us in Revelation 21:4 that, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will no longer be any death; and there will no longer be any mourning, crying or pain; because the old order has passed away." (CJB)

This chapter goes on to say, "Then He who sat on the throne said, 'Behold, I make all things new...these words are true and faithful.' " (21:5, NKJV). "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will see to it that the thirsty drink freely from the fountain of the water of life. To the victors will go this inheritance: I will be their God, and they will be My children. (21:6-7, The Voice).
